Rules & trail tips
Get closer to 21 than the dealer without going over. Face cards count as 10. An Ace counts as 11 or 1. A soft total has an Ace still counting as 11.
Hit takes a card. Stand keeps your total. Double adds your wager, takes exactly one card, then stands. It is available on the first two cards, including after a split.
Split an equal-rank pair into two hands by adding the same wager. Play the marked hand first. One split per round. Split Aces get one card each and stand automatically.
The dealer checks for Blackjack before you act and stands on every 17, including soft 17. A two-card Blackjack pays 3:2 profit: a wager of 10 returns 25 chips, including your original 10. A split-hand 21 pays the usual 1:1. Matching totals push and return your wager. No insurance or surrender.
Start with 500 practice chips. Choose 10, 20 or 50 each round. The trail ends after ten rounds or when fewer than 10 chips remain. Finish ahead to record your net profit as a score. Available chips exclude bets on the table; trail profit counts settled rounds.
Six shuffled decks, reshuffled between rounds when the shoe runs low. Coaching uses your cards and the dealer's visible card. It can guide a decision, never guarantee a win.
Keyboard: Tab moves between controls. Enter or Space activates the focused button.
Leave this trail and return to 500 chips? Its unfinished score will be discarded.
