Course Overview

This course examines an esoteric account of consciousness, symbolism, dreams and personal discipline. It uses terms such as astral planes, lucid intent and coherence to describe that account. These are the course's working concepts, not established scientific explanations of illness or sleep.

Study the material in three stages: learn its vocabulary, examine its examples, then reflect on what you can actually observe in your own experience. Keep observations separate from interpretations. A vivid dream can be meaningful without proving that an external being was present.

The practical foundation is ordinary care for your body, consistent sleep, attention training and honest reflection. You do not need to accept every metaphysical claim to practice those skills.

Before you begin: Create a notebook with three headings: What happened? How does this course interpret it? What other explanation could fit? Use that structure throughout the course.
