The first course in the Household Readiness and Homesteading path, for any household, renters included. You will set two achievable goals, map your local hazards, decide what to do first in an emergency, write a paper household plan, budget and rotate supplies, pack a 72-hour kit, check your home for hazards, keep household gear working, plan for medicines, disabilities and pets, agree on who helps whom in your neighborhood, and run a drill that tests it all. You finish with the binder that every later course adds to. About 14 hours.
