Wei Family class, included in tuition
Internal Taoist Alchemy
Immortal Body Transformation. The deep end of the system.

The art
The internal methods behind the martial art
Internal alchemy, nei dan, is the Taoist practice of cultivating the body from the inside: breath work, standing meditation, the small heavenly circuit, and the methods that build what the old masters called the immortal body. In the Wei Family system it is the root that makes the internal martial arts work.
The Sunday class is quiet and demanding. Long standing postures, precise breathing, and instruction in the classical methods, taught one layer at a time as the student is ready for it.
Where it comes from
Sifu Michael Johnson teaches this material directly, as it was passed to him within the lineage. It is the same body of practice covered in the school's Online Academy course library, taught in person.
What it does for you
Breath and standing practice affect blood pressure, sleep, and recovery in ways students notice within weeks.
Fa jin, the explosive power of the internal styles, comes from this training and nowhere else.
Ninety minutes of stillness on a Sunday night resets the week.
For students who want the tradition whole, this is where the rest of it lives.
What a class looks like
Standing meditation to open. Breathing methods taught and corrected. A section of the internal curriculum, explained and practiced. Seated practice to close.
